The Problem

Moving electric fence reels, posts, and batteries across 60 acres without a tractor — everything was a separate trip, and the gear got damaged or lost.

The Build

A mobile solar-powered cart built on a modified utility trailer frame. Carries 4 reels of polywire, solar charger, deep-cycle battery, posts, and tools in one trip. Key innovation: the reels are mounted on a tensioned axle so wire pays out without tangling. Total cost: ~$400 including the used trailer. Built in a weekend.
